Community Supports

SKILLS offers community supports programs for adults with developmental disabilities out of Skowhegan, Fairfield, and Pittsfield, Maine.

Each provides personalized opportunities for skills building and community engagement. Our flexible schedule helps people experience everything the community has to offer. Attendees of our programs visit museums, plant gardens, attend sporting events and explore the great State of Maine. We organize Special Olympics teams, host dances and music jams, and volunteer for local organizations like Meals on Wheels. There’s so much to do, you’ll wish there were more hours in the day.

Join us at the L.C. Dill Center in Skowhegan. In the relaxed yet structured environment of our program adults with intellectual disabilities learn new skills, pursue their passions, and increase their connection to the community.
