SKILLS Opportunities Driving School

SKILLS Inc. is proud to offer Opportunities Driving School - a fully licensed driving school offered to people who need either specialized learning or access to a training vehicle in order to obtain a driver's license. 

This program prepares participants for the State of Maine permit and driver’s license tests. It includes an initial assessment for driver readiness, 30 hours of classroom instruction, 10 hours of driver instruction, and continued support for participants. Opportunities has a Driving Simulator with multi-level modules that can be used for assessment and education. Instructors at Opportunities are certified DSPs and Licensed Class A driver's education instructors.

Opportunities Driving School is open to and free of cost for MaineCare members covered under sections 18, 19, 20, 21, and 29.
