SKILLS is seeking a Staff Accountant to contribute to the oversight, growth and long-term development of the finance functions in a forward looking, nonprofit organization. The successful candidate will support our finance team and help ensure the financial integrity and accountability of our organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for social good and a strong background in accounting to make a meaningful impact.

The Staff Accountant will utilize Generally Accepted Accounting Principles to maintain Accounts Payable; Accounts Receivable; Staff Credit Cards; Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly close procedures; and monthly Management Reports, among other duties. To be successful in this role, you will need to blend technical accounting skills with an understanding of the unique challenges and goals that non-profits face.

DSP’s help people perform activities of daily living, remember their medication and have quality lives. DSP’s may work in homes
or in the community.
